Charlie Lightening 

Lightening, is a manchester born video director who has directed and shot videos for the likes of Kylie Minogue , Jamiroquai and Ronnie Wood. 

He studied Photo media at university a course which for the first year liked but felt like he was making work for his  lecturers not himself.So by the second and third year he started to make work that he was proud of and work wanted to make he didn't care what any one else thought . Luckily for him the lecturers loved his work too. 

After university he  started off working for the Holstein Beer festival when he was asked to join the set crew by a representative of Ronnie woods son production company, whilst as part of the crew he shot images from behind the scenes which peeked the interest of ronnie woods son Jesse Wood to come document  his Dads behind scene for his DVD

In 2002 he directed Ronnie Wood’s live DVD featuring Slash. Soon after,  he met with Kylie Minogue’s stylist. who had seen is work he had done for Ronnie Woods and wanted Charlie to do  all of Kylie’s behind the scenes documentary footage,as he did so a great job of this he eventually got to  shot her underwear commercial for her Love Kylie lingerie line. 

In 2005 he met with then new  rock band Kasabian, who had only put their first album out at the time, and began to work with them. That same year he created his own company Lightening Productions was created, and  went on the road with Jamiroquai. 2006 to 2007. 

He recently has shot and made the cover for his friend jay (Jamiroquai ) , Jamiroquai is making a comeback this year and he wanted charlie to shoot his new video for his new song. Jamiroquai wanted Charlie to make his album cover as like the idea he had for his new album automaton.
