To make sure all my work for university is 2:1 standard or above
Attend sessions, ask for feedback, make sure I do 2 blog post a week at least.
Tutors, peers
So far I am unsure if I am a target to achieve my goal of a 2:1 or above but I won’t know for sure until June 2017. I have attended the majority of the session and tried to stay on my blog posts. Unlike this year I have asked for help with my work which has helped me a lot as i have a clearer direction of where I am going with my work.
To research the job description of a Forensic photographer.
Research thoroughly into the qualifications needed to be a forensic photographer. Look at options to further study in forensic science.
A family friend who is in crime scene department, The Police, prospects.
I have research the job specifications and qualification for a forensic photographer, Prospects, and other job description websites state you need a degree in criminology as well as photography to become a forensic photographer. However, if I went into Police, after a year or two I could do a criminology diploma which takes 6 months so then i could become a forensic photographer. The less specific requirements for the police so it would be easier to get into. Plus if i go into the police i would gain experience at being at a real crime scene which would help me further .
To take a year out to travel
research how much a gap year on average costs.
family and friends,
| before i enter full-time work i want to have the opportunity to travel the world. After university, i want to carry on working at my part time job then save up to travel before i start my career. |
Photojournalist opportunity at a newspaper.
research internships, jobs at a newspaper
Prospects, Indeed, Guardian jobs
I have looked a variety of newsapaper jobs and the best way to get in to a newspaper is to start as intern and thenw ork your way up. I dont mind doing this but the only problem is that most of thejobs arfe in London and i dont if i want to move to London.

OVERALL REVIEW OF PERFORMANCE
Overall summary of Performance
I am satisfied with my progress I did achieve a majority of my objectives but I do think if I concentrated on this as my other modules I may have completed and achieved everything I wanted to quicker. I have only partially achieved the third objective which is to expand my social media presence, I have created an Instagram page for my photographic work but I haven't updated my facebook page on a regular basis. The last time I update was a while ago. The other objectives I have achieved and I am pleased with that.
