Brief

Brief

Your graduate portfolio should contain between 15 - 20 cohesive images that best reflect your photographic practice and the market you wish to enter (art, editorial, advertising etc). Presented in a professional manner – prints in sleeves in a print box or portfolio book etc., as you deem appropriate.
PRINTED Research folder containing at least:
  • Your updated PDP outlining your career goals (and any processes (SWOT analysis etc) undertaken to develop this
  • Research into graduate opportunities
  • Your defined target market
  • The workings out of what will go into your portfolio
  • Portfolio design research, pulling from all areas of the web (not just photo-
specific websites) that have informed your design. Look at print boxes, and folios for photographers. Look into sizes available, finishes, extras, paper choices, prices etc.
  • Research into freelancing
  • Research into marketing (website, business cards, cv, cover letter, etc)
  • Evidence of competitions entered
  • Evidence networking/contacting professionals/applying for jobs
