What we have

so far for the degree show, we have:

  • A Venue- the space needs altering but not major cost
  • we have had a work in progress show to market our degree show
  • The marketing team is working advertising for the degree show through social media:
  • Instagram
  • Facebook page
https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=meeting%20point-salphotog17%20degree%20show
But we need a catalog to show case our work and allow people who visit who could be potential clients to keep a copy of our work.We need a way to raise money someway we need to research ides to raise money. We need about 500 copies of the catalog and we obviously want the best quality paper and images.

Raise Money ideas

  • Bake sale
  • An event
  • Crowd funder
  • Sponsorship
  • Ask the university

The event was a success, We raise £493 from the raffle and the entry fee of the event this is a significant contribution toward the catalog.

Bake sale

the second idea we put I place was to create a bake sale, I baked some lemon iced buns which I put on my Instagram page to advertise the bake sale.

images below show the bake sale and my lemon iced buns;

The bake sale raised £143 that a smaller contribution but is still a contribution towards the catalog

Personal Contribution

To raise enough money for the catalog we as a cohort have had to contribute towards the catalog. The university was going help us to contribute but so far we haven't heard back from them so far. A small contribution of £35 pounds each from each 15 members who want to appear the catalog.

525 pounds has been raised from personal contribution.

the total cost is 1,161

My statement and images for the catalog

Below are the statement and the two photos one of these photos will be chosen for the catalog.

On Wednesday 12th April 2017 Jane Grace was walking home from her friend Amy Barratts' house at around 5:30 pm, the 11-year-old was walking from John Milne Avenue heading toward her house on Beechfield Road. She was spotted on CCTV near Stanleybrook Stream 5 minutes away from her home address. She was seen on her phone wearing a black hat black leggings and light hooded jacket and trainers. She entered the tunnel by the stream and never appeared on the other side. Her Parents Tina and Martin Grace reported her missing to the police at around 7:00 pm after ringing her friend Amy’s mother Dawn Barratts who said Jane had left over an hour ago. The Police told the Grace’s if Jane hadn’t returned within 24 hours they would investigate.

the first image is a fuzzy CCTV image showing the last movements of the victim before she disappeared.

the second image is blood found at the scene during the investigation.
